Kemp- Our Little Blessing
These pictures were taken on the day of Kemp's baby blessing. The day went smoothly and it was great to see family. Gracie had a blast playing with all of the relatives. I didn't think that it was possible for a baby to cry less than Gracie, but Kemp has proved me wrong! He is such and easy-going and pleasant little fellow.
When we felt really strongly that it was time to have another kid, I was worried about them being too close together. I got a distinct reassuring peace that everyting would be fine and he would be a blessing to our family. And its true! Not that having two kids in diapers doesnt have its hard times, but Kemp is really such a joy. Gracie loves him and he loves her. If she just is near enough to him that he can hear her voice and see her face, he smiles. If she plays with him or rubs his head he grins like crazy.
In general, Kemp has such a good nature and is very easy to get to smile. He has a mobile hanging above is bed with bears. He thinks they are his best friends. Its actually is a bit difficult because if he wakes up during a nap, he will start grinning at the bears and spits out his pacifier. Then he doesnt fall back to sleep as quickly. You can also get him to smile so much that he sucks in air and gives himself the hiccup-oops.
