Bowling

A friend of mine (her husband is one of Sean's fellow residents) set up a bowling playdate for all of us wives. School is in session so all of the kids who came bowling were under five. Which made it...exciting. I wish I could say that Gracie loved it but she actually spent most of the time crying. She was in a mood. Does anyone else have a three year old that is as moody and cries as much as mine? Please say yes. Kemp had a great time trying to escape and crawl onto the bowling lanes. He also liked watching the colorful balls pop up through the ball return. I had never seen this before, but they had these neat metal-bar-ramp thingy. All the kids had to do was set the ball on top and push it down. With that and bumpers how can you go wrong?

yes, i have a three year old at least as tempremental and moody as yours. mine usually displayes the worst symptoms at home (especially if we don't have a "place to go outside the house" scheduled for the day or if mama doesn't feel well... (how dare i)). but tehy also occur regularly at naptime (which she doesn't THINK she needs) and "time to go."
fortunately, she's generally pretty happy "somewhere outside the house"
but bowling with two kids under three... that's brave :) i hope you all had fun!

I love the skirt! And yes, my almost-three-year-old has spent a lot of time in her room crying [I told her that crying and whining is only allowed in bed. It works, if you don't mind waiting around for hours before you go anywhere :( ]

I've heard that the threes are worse than the twos. At least Gracie has the female excuse. Let's hope 3-year-old boys are a little less emotional. :)

Don't worry, Ava gets in MOODS too. And they're usually at the most inconvenient times, like yesterday, when I was trying to get her pictures taken. But you have such beautiful children!
